Del Norte Schools encourages students to speak up about safety concerns—click for confidential reporting options and guidance.

Del Norte Schools has launched the See Something, Say Something campaign to remind students that speaking up can help protect a friend, classmate, or the entire school community.

Students are encouraged to share concerns about:

  • Bullying or harassment
  • Threats or concerning behavior
  • Weapons, drugs, or other unsafe activity
  • Concerning social media posts
  • Self-harm concerns
  • Other safety concerns

Students do not need to investigate a situation or have proof before sharing a concern. If something does not feel right, we encourage students to speak with a teacher, counselor, administrator, or another trusted adult.

Students and families can also submit a confidential report at dnusd.org/tip. Contact information is optional, and reports may be submitted without providing a name.

Report a concern online:
https://dnusd.org/tip

If there is an immediate concern or risk at school, students should tell a staff member right away.

Campaign posters and reporting information will be available throughout our schools to help students know where to turn when something does not feel right.

Families are encouraged to review this information with their children and talk about the importance of speaking up. See something, say something — your voice can help keep someone safe.
